Standard for Qualifying Permanent Connections Used in Substation Grounding

This standard provides test specifications for permanent connections used for substation grounding. It particularly addresses the connections used within the ground grid, and the connections used to join the ground grid to equipment and structures. Connectors that are not intended to withstand fault current, for example connectors to bond equipment cabinets and fences, are outside the scope of this standard. The scope also does not include requirements for distribution and transmission structures outside the substation ground grid.
